whoa!! long time no updating my blog...in this month, i guess i just wrote about three or four entries..well.. i am so interested in updating my blog.. however, i just don't have time to do that..right now.. i am still work in the lab room at school..sigh... i feel so tired.. i am looking forward to the thanksgiving holiday coming.. so that i at least have several days break..i really need to take a rest..all right... i cannot spend too much time on this post..i'd better get back my lab..take care my friends!

【明報專訊】塞浦路斯發現歐洲百年來首隻新品種哺乳類動物。它是一隻眼、耳、牙和頭部都很大的老鼠，學名為「Mus cypriacus」，由英國杜倫大學的法籍教授庫基發現，最初以為只是一種普通老鼠，但經基因測試後卻確定是新物種。庫基表示，新品種哺乳類動物通常會在東南亞等生物較多樣的熱點發現，而且全球很久未有出現新哺乳類動物，故今次發現別具意義。

洞房夜豪飲新郎猝死 婚宴後與「兄弟」酒吧狂歡

今天看了一道香港的本地新聞.. 內容摘要如下..
【明報專訊】一名在酒吧任職的25歲新郎，前晚在婚宴中暢飲喜酒，散席後新娘與家婆回家，新郎卻被眾「兄弟」簇擁往旺角酒吧繼續豪飲，一行10餘人狂飲數支威士忌後，新郎不勝酒力劇烈嘔吐，迷迷糊糊跌坐門外神情呆滯。「兄弟」後來將新郎送返筲箕灣愛巢，未幾其母及新娘發現他無呼吸脈搏，昏迷不醒，於是報警將其送院搶救，惜返魂乏術。
有醫生估計，死者可能因為被嘔吐物窒息、酒精中毒，或心臟病發致死，而一般成年人喝下420毫升（約2水杯）威士忌後，即可能有生命危險。
唉.. 紅事變白事.. 真是樂極生悲...

No, it's not the highest megapixel count we've seen, but this megalith of a camera shoots at 160 megapixels to create a native 6 x 17-cm image, is packed with an ISO range from 500 to 10,000, a read-out speed of 300MB per second, and a shutter speed of 1/20,000th second. So the next question is, how are you going to store such huge image files (nearly 1 GB per uncompressed full panorama), certainly not on your off-the-shelf 16GB SDHC card, nor the upcoming 64GB CompactFlash cards -- but rather via gigabit Ethernet to Seitz's "state-of-the-art computer system", which translates to a decked out Mac mini.
